Why guests book it

  • Nine kilometres of Class II and III rapids
  • Río Savegre, one of the cleanest rivers in Central America
  • Rainforest canyon scenery between the rapids
  • Riverside lunch with the guides
  • Full day out, no experience required

This full-day rafting expedition tackles nine kilometres of Class II and III rapids on the Río Savegre, widely regarded as one of the cleanest rivers in Central America. Paddlers navigate scenic whitewater, pass a majestic waterfall, and stop to swim in natural pools and surf small waves along the way, with a riverside break for fresh fruit, cookies and juice. Round-trip transportation is included from Jacó, Quepos, Manuel Antonio, Uvita and the surrounding area, and professional guides handle every stretch of the river.

Your planner books the slot, arranges the villa pickup and confirms the timings the day before, so nobody in the group has to organise anything on the morning. If you are travelling with children, non-swimmers or anyone who would rather sit the activity out, tell us and we build the day around it.
